The small town at the top of the island of Capri. Many people consider Anacapri the jewel of the island.
It is beautiful and serene, and boasts spectacular views of Capri, Ischia, Naples and the Sorrentine coastline.
Anacapri is a quiet retreat from the activities of neighboring Capri, yet accessible and close enough to enjoy Capri’s excitement. Also, access to the sea for swimming is possible at Faro (the lighthouse beach) and near the Blue Grotta.
Villa Mimosa is within walking distance to all points of interest in the historic city center. Anacapri is host to the museum of San Michele, built by the Swedish physician Axel Munthe in the 19th century, and to the chairlift to the highest point of the island, Monte Solaro.
The famed Blue Grotto and the lighthouse Faro are also located in Anacapri and just a short bus ride from Villa Mimosa.
